Surfwood Equipment L.P, currently Canada's largest independently owned Bobcat dealership, with five locations in British Columbia is looking for a qualified Shop technician at its Coquitlam location. Surfwood has been in continuous operation for over 50 years in British Columbia. We are also the authorized dealer for Doosan/IR Portable Power products, Trailtech Trailers, Skyjack Telehandlers, Stihl and Honda Power Equipment. The ideal Shop technician candidate will have the following: -
Minimum 5 years of heavy equipment, diesel, hydraulics and related experience. -
Electrical troubleshooting experience an asset -
Basic computer skills in filling out required information on work orders -
Good communications skills -
Able to work under minimal supervision and as well as a team atmosphere Duties will include: -
Interpreting work orders and technical manuals -
Diagnosing and repairing faults and malfunctions -
Fulfilling all job orders regarding repairs and maintenance. -
Testing equipment to ensure proper performance -
Providing thorough service report write-ups.
