Surfwood Equipment L.P., currently Canada's largest independently owned Bobcat dealership, with five locations in British Columbia is looking for qualified candidates for Shop and Field Heavy Duty Mechanics positions at it's Coquitlam location. Surfwood has been in continuous operation for over 50 years in British Columbia. We are also the authorized dealer for Doosan/IR Portable Power products, Trailtech Trailers, Skyjack Telehandlers, Stihl and Honda Power Equipment.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Minimum 5 years of heavy equipment, diesel, hydraulics and related experience.

• Electrical troubleshooting experience an asset

• Basic computer skills in filling out required information on work orders

• Good communications skills

• Able to work under minimal supervision and as well as a team atmosphere

Duties will include:

• Interpreting work orders and technical manuals

• Diagnosing and repairing faults and malfunctions

• Fulfilling all job orders regarding repairs and maintenance.

• Testing equipment to ensure proper performance

• Providing thorough service report write ups.
